我們花了一小時 才回到家

今天 又下大雪了
OSU 在 Snow Emergency Level 1 的衝擊下
下午終於宣布停課了
雖然只是 level 1 理論上大家還是可以出門的
但是隨著數吋的大雪 接著下起了雨
這樣的情形讓路況更糟了
所以
三年來頭一遭 OSU宣布停課
讓我賺到了一個可以好好閉關 writing的下午

Snow emergency的level 有三種

Ohio State University canceled classes on Tuesday afternoon because of a winter storm that has dumped several inches of snow in Columbus.

University administrators said that classes would be canceled beginning at 1:30 p.m.

Several counties were placed under snow emergencies. The following counties were under emergencies as of 1:10 p.m. Tuesday.

Level 2:
Athens, Champaign, Coshocton, Delaware, Logan, Madison, Union

Level 1:
Fairfield, Franklin, Hocking, Licking, Marion, Morrow, Perry, Pickaway, Pike, Ross

Snow Emergency Explanation

Level 1 Snow Emergency
Roadways are hazardous with blowing and drifting snow. Roads are also icy; drive carefully.

Level 2 Snow Emergency
Roadways are hazardous with blowing and drifting snow. Only those who believe it is necessary to drive should be out on the roadways. Contact your employer to see if you should report to work.

Level 3 Snow Emergency
All roadways are closed to non-emergency personnel. No one else should be out during these conditions unless it is absolutely necessary to travel. All employees should contact their employers to see if they should report to work. Those traveling on the roadways may be subject to arrest.
