This course is offered for graduate students across the college of education and human ecology, and agriculture education. In this course, I developed the syllabus and designed the curriculum. I taught the applications of using SPSS software to analyze data set in educational settings: such as how to carry out elementary statistical analyses with SPSS, produce outputs and subsequently interpret the outputs and use the appropriate format to publish results from SPSS in research projects, and journal articles. From this course, 76% student rated me in the OSU SEI (Student Evaluation of Instruction report) as good and excellence.

Committee of Secretary (2006), Taiwanese Student Association, The Ohio State University. Our mission is to help Taiwanese students adjust to academic life and to cope with the stress caused by the cultural impact at OSU. We held activities to help new comers to make connections with the environment at OSU. Within my term, I conducted a large on-line survey to establish a systematic database on student housing information for Taiwanese students.

The Mid-Western Educational Research Association (MWERA) is a non-profit organization of professional educational researchers primarily from states and provinces located in the mid-western region of the United States and Canada.

Application Reviewer (2006, April). Early Learning Initiative, Columbus, OH. I reviewed for Early Learning Initiative to approve preschool centers in the state of Ohio. The Early Learning Initiative (ELI) is a collaborative effort between the Ohio Department of Education and the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services designed to provide children, often identified as at-risk for school failure, with educational experiences that will help them to enter kindergarten ready for success.

Panel Host (2005, April). Council of Graduate Student, The Ohio State University. Timer and panel host for The Edward F. Hayes Graduate Research Forum. The Edward F. Hayes Graduate Research Forum is co-sponsored by the Council of Graduate Students, the Graduate School, and the Office of Research at OSU. Its purpose is to provide a significant professional development experience for OSU graduate students.

Application Interviewer (2006, March). Metro High School, Columbus, OH. Metro High School is a collaboratively established school by the Ohio State University, Battelle and the Columbus-based Educational Council in 2006. It aims to provide an arena for research into the best educational practices to make secondary education more relevant and rigorous, especially focus on math and science education.

Guest Reviewer (2006, June). Journal of Experimental Education. The Journal of Experimental Education publishes theoretical, laboratory, and classroom research studies that use the range of quantitative and qualitative methodologies.

Administrative assistant (2000-2001). School Architecture Institute, Taiwan. I participated in key projects with school administrators to facilitate the innovation of school architectures in Taiwan. I also coordinated guest speakers and presenters for Annual Conference of School Architecture 2001 and generated reports for Academic Seminars of School Architecture which consists of school principals, administrators and architects.
